Stance Socks, the official sock outfitter of the NBA, whipped a special treat for the retiring Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers. During today’s game, which tips off at 3:30 PM EST, the Lakers players will wear special-edition Stance Socks to honor The Black Mamba, which might be the first occasion in which a team wore a special piece of apparel to pay tribute to a current player. There are also two more special versions of the socks, which are available right now at Stance.com, KobeBryant.com, NBAstore.com, and vendors at the Staples Center.
