adidas Originals Introduces The SEEULATER

Adidas Seeulater Winterized Boot 01

adidas Originals is finding new ways to usher in 90s nostalgia for the winter ahead by introducing the bold new take on the adidas SEEULATER. We’ve already seen the strange new model through a collaborative effort by Japanese fashion label White Mountaineering, but now a crisp new white colorway will be arriving at retailers on September 9th.

The adidas SEEULATER is a modern twist on the adidas SEEULATER boot from the 90s. The silhouette is built from a Primeknit woven upper with premium nubuck and leather panels throughout to support the heel and toecap to add a little more structure than the woven offerings we’ve seen from the three stripes throughout the summer. The outsole is exaggerated to the point of looking almost like a football cleat, with rugged teeth chomping away to go on a trail run or withstand the slush and snow of the months ahead. The SEEULATER also benefits from a sock-like woven ankle construction for a comfortable lockdown fit. It will be interesting to see what other colorways the trefoil brand adds to this strange model, but for now, the White Mountaineering variety is due out in October following the general release of this clean white on white offering on September 9th.
