The Air Jordan 1 was one of 2016’s hottest retros thanks to some of the more off-limits OG colorways finally releasing in remastered form and featuring that ‘Nike Air’ branding on the tongue, something we hadn’t seen since 2013. While the Banned, Chicago, and Black Toes all sold out immediately, that doesn’t mean that some of the colorways still available at retailers aren’t worthy of a purchase. Take for instance, this Air Jordan 1 “Rare Air” featuring a Max Orange colorway that looks conspicuosly similar to the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” release. Updated ‘Nike Air’ branding hits the heel in matching stitching while ‘Air Jordan’ branding replaces the ‘Wings’ for a unique new look.
