Is The VLONE x Nike Air Force 1 High Releasing?

Vlone Nike Air Force 1 High Preview 01

Back in February A$AP Bari teased the first preview of the VLONE Nike Air Force 1 High, a pair that extended the black and orange tumbled leather to the high top silhouette with a defining strap featuring the ‘Every Living Creative Dies Alone’ tagline in Old English. Today we get a better look at the coming collaboration as well as a confirmation that the VLONE Nike Air Force 1 High is indeed releasing, we just don’t know when quite yet. Our guess is for the Fall/Winter 2017 season, but stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News. Here’s what the article had to say:

Bari has collaborated with Nike on a VLONE x Nike Air Force One — he couldn’t say when the high silhouette is coming out — and he’s also partnered with brands including Fragments and Off-White.

“I wanted to show in Paris to see if I could complete the mission I’m going for,” said Bari. “I’m trying to show kids that you can do anything. I’m not a kid that went to fashion school. I’m not a kid that went to college and studied fashion. I’m a kid that grew up in fashion and learned it from a life experience.”

“Buyers can come to the show and get inspired, but it’s still not for the stores. It’s for the people. It’s for the world,” said Bari. “If Barneys wants to come and buy some clothes, they are going to have to buy the whole lifestyle of VLONE and let me shut down Barneys and bring in my own vision. Other than that, they can’t have it. It’s for me. It’s not for someone to take my s–t and resell.”

Bari may not like the idea of reselling his VLONE collections, but his VLONE x Nike Air Force 1 Low collaboration was very much for the reselling community given the wide profit margin. Resellers had a ball with that incredibly limited offering with Stock X reporting that the $250 offering resold for an average of $1,746. Stay tuned for the VLONE AF1 High Release Date right here on Sneaker News.
