Updated on June 30th, 2017: The Nike Kobe AD “Purple Stardust” is available now via Nike.
It’s a bit ironic that Lakers colorways of Kobe Bryant’s signature shoes are hard to come by. For some reason, the colorists at Nike Basketball tend to stray from the basic team color-blocking, although NIKEiD allows Mamba fans to create whatever theme they want. This upcoming Nike Kobe AD is as close to Los Angeles it’ll get thanks to a Purple Stardust upper, black accents, and a touch of yellow on the insoles. July 1st is the official release date for these, so check out the detailed photos below.
