The Jordan x Converse Pack Is Inspired By MJ’s “Love Of The Game” Contract Clause

Jordan Converse Pack Official Images Release Date 01

Michael Jordan’s first professional contract with the Chicago Bulls came with the legendary ‘Love of the Game‘ clause. It allowed Mike to play basketball in the off-season however and wherever he wanted, whether it be pick-up games in Chicago or going back to Chapel Hill to play with his former teammates at the University of North Carolina in the off-season, regardless of any potential liabilities. The upcoming Jordan Converse Pack takes us back to those early days by honoring a UNC Alumni Game and the rare Jordan 2 PE that Michael Jordan wore featuring a combination of Chicago Bulls and Tar Heels colors. The pair will also be joined by the Converse Fastbreak Low that Michael Jordan donned during Team USA’s 1984 Olympic appearance, only this time sporting matching Carolina Blue accents with contrasting classic ‘Wings’ branding on the lining. Check out more official images courtesy of Nike News and grab your pair on June 28th, 2017 (the date is even written on the heel in honor of the star-studded Alumni Game that Jordan debuted the rare Jordan 2 UNC PE in).
