The Nike Air More Uptempo Goes To UNC

Nike Air More Uptempo Univeristy Blue Coming Soon

Update: Footlocker announced that select stores are stocking the Nike Air More Uptempo “University Blue” starting August 8th, 2017.

We’re not even close to being tired of the Nike Air More Uptempo yet. Sometimes when Nike Sportswear brings back these iconic golden-age 90s hoops models, the brand have a tendency to overdue the nostalgia factor and give us some unnecessary new colorways. Sure, there have been a couple of misses like iridescent women’s exclusive, but scroll through the tag and you’ll notice the countless brand new Air More Uptempo creations that are straight fire. The same can be said about this upcoming Nike Air More Uptempo UNC, a colorway that combines the Tar Heels’ signature Carolina Blue with White ‘AIR’ side panel branding for a standout look. Just a reminder of who was on the Heels squad in 1996: Antawn Jamison and Vince Carter. We would have loved to see them rock this pair. The Air More Uptempo UNC is rumored to release on September 1st but stay tuned for more updates via our Release Dates page.
