Nike Air More Uptempo “Island Green” Releasing Exclusively For Kids

Updated on July 19th, 2017: The Nike Air More Uptempo GS “Island Green” releases on July 22nd, 2017 for $130.

Add another colorway to the ever growing archive of the Air More Uptempo. The 1996 basketball classic first got in some shine on the feet of Scottie Pippen before becoming a bonafide lifestyle icon thanks to the retro 90s oversized ‘AIR’ branding on the side panel. After the Supreme collaboration brought even more hype to the silhouette, Nike Sportswear has capitalized by promising more and more new colorways into the fold. Today we get a first look at the grade school exclusive Nike Air More Uptempo Island Green set to release later this Summer 2017 season. The minty green shade shines on that Jewel Swoosh heel branding while simple white ‘AIR’ panels keep things clean. If you’re looking for a bluer, less aqua shade, there’s also an Air More Uptempo “UNC” coming for adults this September. If you can’t wait for this pair to arrive at retailers later this summer, there are still sizes of the Nike Air More Uptempo “Scottie Pippen” available today. Stay tuned for more updates.
