Updated on July 19th, 2017: The Nike Air More Uptempo GS “Island Green” releases on July 22nd, 2017 for $130 via Foot Locker.

Another day, another brand new take on the 1996 basketball classic known as the Nike Air More Uptempo. While the shoe has seen a significant spike in interest given the recent Supreme collaboration, the Air More Uptempo has always been lauded by sneakerheads for its unique and bulky construction with trademark ‘AIR’ branding through the leather panel overlays. Scottie Pippen was a fan, as was seemingly everyone in the basketball world at the time, and 21 years later Nike has brought back OG and new colorways in more ways than we can count.

Today we get a look at the kids-exclusive Uptempo Island Green slated to release on July 26th for $130 USD. The minty shade of pastel turquoise extends all the way to the midsole and outsole while that bold ‘AIR’ branding contrasts in a clean white. Check out more detailed shots below and in other Uptempo news, there’s a new Nike Air More Uptempo “Tri-Color” headed to retailers August 12th.
