Converse Officially Unveils Tyler, The Creator’s Golf Le Fleur x One Star Collection

Converse One Star Tyler The Creator Le Fleur Collection

Like many of today’s classic shoes of the past, the Converse One Star has navigated a self-blazed path through cultural booms across the nation. Originally releasing in suede with upgraded traction and foam-backed tongue, the One Star (originally a performance upgrade to the All-Star) became a cult hit in the Seattle grunge rock scene of the early 90s and would later become a go-to option for skaters.

2017 has proven to be yet another banner year for the One Star, with epic collaborations with the most influential shops and creatives around the world creating even more demand around the shoes. This August, Converse will launch its largest collaborative collection to date with none other than Tyler, The Creator, the West Coast-based hip-hop artist whose unconventional rise to the top proved to be the magnetic force behind his wild fanbase.

The Tyler, The Creator x Converse One Star “Le Fleur” collection includes four distinct colorways of the One Star, with flower stitching around the Star logo on the upper, custom artwork on the insoles, and messaging straight from Tyler. The One Star x Golf Le Fleur collection releases worldwide and on Converse.com on August 3rd; the shoes are priced at $100, hoodies are $90, and tees are $35.
