Abel Tesfaye, known throughout the world as The Weeknd, is one of the most relevant and hardworking musicians on the planet right now. His third album Starboy continues to be featured on the Billboard charts and the Grammy Award-winning artist has been flexing his influence on the streetwear community for quite some time now. The Weeknd has teamed up with PUMA to be their latest global ambassador with the coming PUMA x XO Collection debuting at retailers on August 24th highlighted by the debut of the PUMA Parallel silhouette. The model is all about contradictions as classic materials meet a futuristic design with elements of military inspiration combining with luxurious aesthetics. The Weeknd joined PUMA in Marfa, Texas (famous for the fake Prada store installation) to shoot the latest campaign for the sneaker boot. The pair is comprised of luxurious Italian nubuck leather throughout with a smooth rubber midsole featuring the latest in PUMA IGNITE cushioning technology.
