Nike Responds To The KD Hate With Awesome Finals MVP-Inspired Shoe Release

Nike Kd 10 Finals Mvp 897815 403
Updated on September 14th, 2017: The Nike KD 10 “Finals” releases again on September 15th, 2017 for $150 via Nike SNKRS.

Call Kevin Durant whatever insulting name you want, just make sure you begin with NBA Champion and Finals MVP. Nike Basketball is addressing the unwarranted hate that Kevin Durant received when he signed with Golden State by releasing a KD 10 PE-style release that not only draws attention to his postseason success, but also the criticism he received for his decision to bounce out of OKC. The blue/yellow colorway is similar to the PE that KD wore throughout the 2017 Finals, but this version features special emblems on the heel, a blue/yellow Flyknit blend on the upper, and custom insoles that remind us that Kevin Durant is, above all, a champ.

Given the recent trades and movements in this offseason, perhaps the general public now understand that guiding your own destiny is a far better option than being traded away like Isaiah Thomas was.

Shoe Palace has these up on their site, but are currently not up for sale. Stay tuned for further release info, although Foot Locker is releasing the more traditional PE version today as well.
