Nike Straps Up For The Special Forces Boot Sequel

Nike Straps Up For The Special Forces Boot Sequel

When Nike initially debuted the SFB Lightweight Performance Boot in 2009, its objective was to bring a comfortable high performance boot to military personnel and other first responders. Eight years later a sequel of sorts has been introduced with the SFB Gen 2, an updated version that features a new 8’’ collar. This new offering is built to be combat-ready, meeting all AFI 36-2903 requirements, and features an internal rock shield that adds durability while still maintaining the boot’s flexibility. However, if you’re not in active military duty like the most of us and prefer the tactical look of the SFB series, the Gen 2 model should be right up your alley – especially considering the rugged boot look is still a trend. The updated SFB Gen 2 is available now in three military-inspired colorways on Nike.com.
