Concepts To Release Alternate Red Colorway Of New Balance 999 “Hyannis”

New Balance 999 Hyannis Concepts Red 1

In the sneaker collaboration process, there are a countless number of unreleased samples and variants that never quite make it past the cutting room floor. For Concepts, who has shared with us their behind-the-scenes vantage points with previous collaborations with Nike and ASICS, their 2011 release of the ground-breaking “Kennedy” was no different as this alternate red heeled version was almost the final product. To celebrate the relaunch of their remastered 999, Concepts is dropping a limited run of the alternate red heel, complete with New Balance’s premium construction.

For now, Concepts will release both pairs of the New Balance 999 Made In USA “Hyannis” exclusively at this weekend’s Complex Con at their #K3 booth. The alternate red pair will release on Saturday, November 4th, while the blue re-issue releases on Sunday, November 5th.
