Public School NY burst into the sneaker scene with their heralded collaborations with Jordan Brand and the Air Jordan 12 Retro. The NYC-bred menswear label is now turning its attention to Nike and the Air Force 1 High with this tribute to the all-white icon in a completely deconstructed build to mimic the early sample-stage phases of production. Built with premium leathers, the PSNY x Air Force 1 High earns its distinction by exposing all the stitching along the seams while giving the appearance of an incomplete production. A mock sample tag also lends to the concept, as does the “PROPERTY OF PSNY, NOT FOR RESALE” warning on the heel pull-tab. PSNY branding is evident on the tongue as well as the insole, with their signature We Need Leaders emblem hidden behind the heel-tab.
