A new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Mid is on the way, and it is getting a touch of premium treatment. Though the colorway is very subdued, with a simple color scheme of black, grey and white, the intrigue of the shoe comes from the tumbled leather that is featured on the dark grey panels of the upper. This leather is similar to the more premium leather we have seen on classic Jordan 1 Retros like the “Royal”, “Banned” and “Shattered Backboard”. Beyond that, the simple color scheme and new materials give the shoe a very clean, wearable look. There has been no official word on when this colorway might drop, but stay tuned to Sneaker News for that info when it arrives.
