In honor of Kobe Bryant’s dual-number retirement ceremony on December 18th, New Era has partnered with the Lakers to create a luxurious hat in honor of the 5-time champ’s illustrious career. While there are five hats being offered in the collection the clear centerpiece of the capsule is the incredibly limited cap adorned in authentic Ostrich leather with an 18K gold pin placed on its upper. The golden logo on the forefront of the design features a luxurious looking emblem that pays tribute to both of the numbers Kobe wore during his time in LA. To further his dual-numbered legacy, the hat will be listed at a whopping $5,824.08 USD and it will be limited to only 8 units that will be sold exclusively at the Staples Center on Monday night.
