Russell Westbrook’s “Why Not?” Motto Appears On New Jordan Shoe

One of the more anticipated sneakers of 2018 is undoubtedly the first on-court signature shoe for Russell Westbrook. Here we have a look at what may be the MVP’s on-court shoes in two colorways (seen here in kids sizes). The super-modern aesthetic draws back to a lot of the earlier Team Jordan models such as the Team J, Camp 23, and Randy Moss’ Super Freak signature shoe – all of which featured a shroud-like upper construction that hid the laces, while the traditional heel-loop and lace-locks go back further into the early 90s era of Jordan. This new shoe clearly has Russell Westbrook in mind as his PE logo is placed on the ankle strap while his motto of “Why Not?” appears on the tongue. No word on a release date yet, but we expect an early 2018 debut.
