Nike’s plans for celebrating the Chinese New Year are as extensive as ever, as multiple silhouettes appear to be involved, with numerous design elements taking shape on each iteration. Floral patterns have been the most prevalent, being predominantly featured on the upcoming Air Jordan 6 as well as the Kyrie 4. The Air Max 90 selection that you see here highlights a similar design in a much more subtle way, as the iteration’s mudguard sports a tonal paisley design that incorporates much smaller floral detailing. The Chinese flag’s red and yellow colors are utilized as accents on this 90, with red outfitting the Swoosh branding, and yellow being creatively emblazoned along the tongue tab and insole. While no specific release information has surfaced yet, expect this Chinese New Year offering to arrive at Nike Sportswear retailers in late January or early February.
