Jordan Brand Adds The Air Jordan 1 Flyknit To Its RE2PECT Collection

Jordan Brand continues to add to its Air Jordan 1 Flyknit collection that started by introducing two of the most popular Jordans in memory – the Royal and Bred Jordan 1s. Now, the Jumpman is adding to that series with another tribute to the brand’s premier non-basketball athlete – the Captain, Derek Jeter. The recent RE2PECT Air Jordan 1 with a shadow-like color scheme had two separate releases with stock flying off the shelves, so another offering under the same monicker certainly makes sense. Dressed in flexible Flyknit tooling, this offering sports a Yankee color scheme with a primarily white upper offset by navy blue with royal gold on the Jordan branding. One of the most intriguing aspects of this design comes on the translucent icy blue outsole, where “The Captai2” is inscribed underneath, creatively incorporating Derek Jeter’s famous number two once again.

Currently, no specific release date has been made available, but expect the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit “RE2PECT” sometime in February. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for updates and peep the official images below.
