Nike Kobe AD “Pure Platinum” Releases Next Weekend

Kobe Bryant’s AD signature line has been all about telling a story, as the heels of certain designs have sported some unique designations with deeper meanings. We’ve seen the Snakeskin-infused model house some simply drawn up plays on its heel, and Isaiah Thomas’ “Slow Grind” PE that had that same monicker emblazoned on the left sneaker. Now, the Kobe AD “Pure Platinum” comes equipped with some mysterious markings that could possibly allude to the 18-time All-Star’s career achievements. It’s likely that the 5-strike logo on the right tongue represents his five finals wins, while the slashes on the left heel may represent all 16 of the Lakers’ championship trophies.
