Famed hip-hop star Vince Staples has revealed an upcoming collaboration with Converse that will consists of two of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes and a full apparel collection as well. The Chuck Taylor High and Low appeared on the rapper’s Instagram page with clear nods to Staple’s sophomore album – Big Fish Theory. This collaboration comes as no surprise, as the Chuck Taylor has had a major influence in LA culture and Staples was part of the brand’s “Forever Chuck” campaign.

One of the more notable design features, is actual artwork from the aforementioned Big Fish Theory album cover comes emblazoned on the outsole of both the OX and HI versions. Both the Hi and Ox Chuck 70s are built with an aquarium sockliner, Big Fish Theory graphic outsole and “Vince Staples” embroidered on the medial collar. Fans of Converse and Staples alike will be able to grab a pair from this collaboration on January 25th. You can read more about the collection on Nike News.
