Nike Honors The FDNY With NYC-Inspired Air Force 1 Set

Nike Honors The FDNY With NYC-Inspired Air Force 1 Set

Nike’s “City Edition” jerseys for the New York Knicks was just a hint of the creativity and style that the Swoosh brought to the NBA. The Knicks debuted these excellent FDNY-inspired threads last week, and it looks like the brand is dropping some related footwear to celebrate the navy and orange colors. On February 9th, Nike will release the Air Force 1 “FDNY” Pack in Low, Mid, and High form, with NYC logos on the tongue, “New York’s Bravest” on the insoles, and a FDNY-inspired Nike logo on the heel. The Air Force 1 High features an orange and reflective ankle strap as a nod to the gear worn by the brave members of the Fire Department, while the overall colorway itself is a treat for AF1 fans as it is similar to the memorable Air Force 1 Mid “Jewel” release of 1997. See the detailed official images below and stay tuned for the SNKRS release this Friday.
