Update: The LeBron 15 “All-Star” edition is inspired by the “Rust Pink” stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and will retail for $185 USD.
Joining the ranks of Nike’s loud and colorful All-Star basketball shoe selections is this rust pink version of the LeBron 15. The Swoosh’s plans for the Kyrie 4 and the KD 10 have already been revealed, and it is clear that the brand’s aesthetic for the LA festivities is going to be boisterous and colorful – the exact opposite of the Jordan Brand All-Star uniforms. Interestingly, the Air Units of this LeBron 15 are matted in gold, as opposed to the usual translucent features – furthering the luxe tendencies of both the City of Angels and All-Star Weekend. As more images surface, it will be interesting to see if the insoles come with another nod to one of LA’s famous beaches, much like the aforementioned offerings from KD and Kyrie.
