Sneaker retailer Jimmy Jazz has teamed up with Marvel Comics and New Balance to create a two-piece footwear collection together in honor of the upcoming Black Panther film. Featuring the New Balance 574 Sport and the 990v4, the brands came together to celebrate the warrior-king lifestyle of King T’Challa – better known as Black Panther. Inspired by the hero’s stunning Vibranium suit, the two offerings come clad in black with rugged leather and knit materials combined with silver accents, 3M laces and a Marvel lace keeper to finish off these commemorative looks. Finally, a Black Panther icon logo stamped insole, and debossed tribal details come together to make this collection fit for any Wakandan hero.
Both offerings come packaged in a custom black box with Marvel and New Balance co-branding and Marvel tissue paper. Jimmy Jazz will sell the first wave of releases online and in select locations tomorrow, February 9th, which will be followed up by another limited release on NewBalance.com on the 16th.
