Kendrick Lamar’s Nike Cortez “Kung Fu Kenny” Is Releasing Soon

Kendrick Lamar’s Nike Cortez “Kung Fu Kenny” Is Releasing Soon

After a massively successful launch of his first Nike Cortez collaboration (as well as the ensuing hilarity of Ellen Degeneres’ on-foot photo of the shoes), Kendrick Lamar is ready to take center stage for the Swoosh once again. The “Kung Fu Kenny” Nike Cortez, which was first revealed on Kendrick’s feet back in December, is set to release soon for a mere $100 and a slew of details that you just won’t see an on your average Cortez drop. This upcoming leather/mesh build features a black ribbon that goes down the middle of the tongue with with an outward printing of “Don’t Trip” as well as Chinese translation of DAMN on the forefoot. The same ribbon detail can be seen on the heel. While a firm release date hasn’t been revealed, a surprise drop during All-Star Weekend seems timely given the attention around the event and the hip-hop artist’s roots in the city. Stay tuned for firm release information and check out the official images of the drop here.
