Nipsey Hussle Threatens Reebok With Legal Action For “Unauthorized” Sneaker Release

Nipsey Hussle Threatens Reebok With Legal Action For “Unauthorized” Sneaker Release

Nipsey Hussle appears to be sought after by the sneaker industry for his representation. Apparently, things have overlapped. Although the Crenshaw native has a shoe releasing this weekend (which we gave you a first look here), he responded to a tweet mentioning the release us “unauthorized” while reiterating his affiliation with Puma. He goes on to state that Reebok would be getting a letter from his lawyer. While the shoes don’t use Nipsey’s name on the shoe, there are some heavy references to his persona hat make the connection all too clear. Additionally, footwear retailers have labeled the shoe with his name on their respective release calendars.

Nipsey Hussle was also featured recently on an advertisement by Jordan Brand and Foot Locker for the Gatorade product line.
