END And ASICS Create A Wasabi-Inspired GEL-Lyte III Collaboration

ASICS continues to team up with huge names in the collaborative footwear space, and that trend continues with this “Wasabi”-inspired GEL-Lyte III made in conjunction with UK-based END. Its pigskin nubuck uppers are meant to mimic the sea foam green hue of wasabi, while the gunmetal grey that arrives on the Japanese brand’s signature stripes is reminiscent of the region in which the herb grows. Finishing off this honorary look, is tropical peach, which can be found on part of the outsole and the heel tab which should remind sushi lovers of both a plate of sashimi and ginger that accompanies every roll. END. branding comes stamped on one side of the split tongued runner in the form of a Japanese character.

Finally, a special bespoke “Bento Box”-styled packaging that comes with END. branded chopsticks and wasabi bowls rounds out this collaborative collection to put the Japanese culture aesthetic through the roof. Reservations are currently open at endclothing.com until March 4th at 4 PM EST, and the official release date is scheduled for the 8th.
