In honor of one of the 25th anniversary of one of the greatest baseball movies of all time – The Sandlot – New Balance has teamed up with PF Flyers for a special edition cleat just in time for Spring. Inspired by the anniversary of PF Flyer’s memorable Sandlot Center Hi sneaker this new cleat utilizes an aesthetic makeup that would have been seen on the feet of Benny “The Jet” Rodriguez during the movie. Marking the first time these two industry veterans have teamed up, “Run Faster, Jump Higher” serves as a monicker that embodies the performance-geared nature of both PF Flyers and New Balance. This collection centers around the unique “Secret Weapon” silhouette that the characters wore in the movie and will be accompanied by a special edition tee and the pair of sneakers.
