Long-time collaborative partners Concepts and New Balance have come together for yet another for a exclusive release: a special take on the 998 silhouette inspired by the mallard duck, a bird that’s found frequently in the New England area where both companies are based. Featuring premium light brown suede on the toebox and midfoot with a darker suede on the heel, the shoe also offers a bright touch of flair with an iridescent reflective material on the tongue, forefoot, and midfoot logo. Aqua blue collar detailing, yellow-orange New Balance logo hits on the tongue and heel and a grey/black/white midsole round off the shoe’s premium look. The shoe is available now, exclusively at the Concepts x New Balance pop-up at 9 JFK Street in Cambridge for $220 USD.
