Air Jordan 1 Mid “Last Shot” Celebrates MJ’s Big Bucket

Much of Michael Jordan’s legacy will be remembered through iconic still images that help tell the story of his illustrious career. From the shot of him soaring from the free throw line in the Air Jordan 3 “White/Cement” during the ’87 Dunk Contest to famous fist pump image after he hit “The Shot” over Craig Ehlo in a pair of “Bred” 4s, he is arguably the most photogenic superstar in sports. Perhaps one of the most iconic pieces of imagery from MJ’s storied NBA legacy is the sight of him hitting the “Last Shot” against the Utah Jazz in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals in the Air Jordan 14.

In honor of the 20th anniversary of that historic moment, Jordan Brand will be brining back that heralded pair of 14s as well as an Air Jordan 32 Low. Now, the Jumpman is adding an Air Jordan 1 Mid to the mix that sports the same black and red color scheme as the original 14 and even ushers in a hit of yellow on the lateral wings logo to pay homage to the Ferrari-inspired logo of Jordan’s 14th signature sneaker. At the moment, no official release information has been made available, but it is certainly possible they will hit shelves around the same time as the 14 on June 14th.
