The Nike KD 4 “Thunderstruck” Will Release After Game 3

While Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors might be closing in on their second consecutive Larry O’Brien Trophy, there once was a time when things didn’t come all that easy for the Slim Reaper. In 2012, the Big 3 of the OKC Thunder – led by Durant – took on the LeBron James-led Big 3 of the Miami Heat in an NBA Finals dream matchup. While things did not go as planned for number 35 and his upstart Thunder squad, Durant did manage a playoff performance for the ages – leading to this KD 4 “Thunderstruck”. In fact, it was the first time in 13 years that the Lakers, Spurs, or Mavericks failed to represent the West in the NBA Finals.

Dressed in the same white and Photo Blue color scheme that he sported six years ago, the KD 4 reminds consumers the immense promise that Durant’s signature line once had. Often considered the best of his 11 signature sneakers with Nike, this simplistic colorway is also one of the best selection’s from Nike INC.’s illustrious “Art of a Champion” collection. Check out another detailed set of images below and prepare to secure your pair the morning after Game 3 of this year’s Finals.
