Update: The Air Zoom Generation “Purple Suede” will release in 2023. However, it will feature a standard suede upper and not the fire-proof suede used for LeBron James’ 2018 PE.
LeBron James just walked into Quicken Loans Arena for Game 3, ditching his shuit (shorts + suit) for a much more casual ‘fit that included a brand new PE of the Nike Air Zoom Generation. Decked out in full purple suede, this one-of-one for LeBron was actually built with the same leather suede from Denny Hamlin’s racing boot rendering them completely resistant to fire, according to Nike designer Ben Kirschner.
