The Air Jordan 3 “International Flight” Recalls 1988 Charity Game

Jordan Brand is taking flight once more with a series of Retro footwear called the “International Flight” Collection. Originally previewed at a footwear preview at the Nike NYHQ in late Spring, this Air Jordan 3 Retro recalls a 1988 charity game in which the GOAT dropped 54 points while wearing the original “Fire Red” colorway of the Air Jordan 3. The red, white, and blue colorway is a nod to those custom jerseys worn by the players of the Magic Johnson UNCF Celebrity Basketball Game, while the added details arrive via the starry sock-liner, MJ insignia on the tongue, and a tri-color look on the midsole. Look for these commemorative Air Jordan 3s to arrive June 30th at Jordan Brand retailers.
