The Nike Air Flightposite One Makes A Surprise Return

The Nike Air Flightposite One Makes A Surprise Return

Nike’s Air Flightposite is somewhat of a cult classic sneaker: a shoe that never quite garnered the same amount of acclaim that the legendary Foamposite did, but has a place in the anauls of Nike Basketball history nonetheless. Debuted in 1999 and worn by Knicks guard Allan Houston, the unique hoop shoes last released in 2013 before this unexpected return to market. Arriving in a head-turning “Legion Green” colorway that was last seen on the Foamposite One at the tail end of 2017, the shoe features an iridescent green Nike Posite upper with a black neoprene bootie. Green detailing outlines the throat’s black swoosh, and green stripes appear on both the tongue and heel’s pull tabs. The shoe is completed by a dotted black plastic midfoot shank and a black outsole. If you’re into this retro Nike Basketball silhouette, they’re available now at Lapstone and Hammer for $200 USD.

Update: Available now at Nikestore and Footlocker.
