Nike’s Vapormax may be taking a step in a bold new direction this summer/ fall. After the recent unveiling of a boot-like silhouette we now have a look at another new take on the tech, this time prominently featuring bold colors and a plethora of Flywire. The new shoe boasts a combination of purple, heather grey, and black, with the toebox, throat and laces featuring purple detailing, all of which is surrounded by a black taped stripe. The rest of the shoe’s upper is dressed in a heather grey, with black flecked Flywire lace loop overlays reaching from the laces all the way down to the midsole. Silver Vapormax detailing runs up the tongue on a strip, and a silver Swoosh also lands on the toebox for branding. A final pop of color is provided by teal lace toggles, and the shoe’s cushioning is provided by via a crystal-clear Vapormax unit.
