Converse Moves The One Star Logo To The Heel

Converse Moves The One Star Logo To The Heel

Although it hasn’t quite reached the legendary status of the Chuck Taylor, the Converse One Star is a classic silhouette with a devoted following all its own. Known for its vintage look look and bold branding, the One Star has now arrived in a new CC Pro Ox version that offers an interesting twist on the original release. Upon first glance, you may notice the glaring absence of the standard Converse star branding on the shoe’s quarter panel, as it’s been moved to the heel for a pop of eccentricity. The shoe’s tongue also features an updated look, arriving in a thin suede with a debossed logo. The final altered detail arrives via the midsole, which trades out the standard stripe and textured toe for a smooth tonal white take. The shoe doesn’t completely forgo its heritage though, as the classic brown Converse rubber outsole is left intact. If you’re feeling this re-worked take on the One Star, it’s available now in two tonal colorways—a light purple and a mustard yellow—from Converse Cons retailers like Premier for $85 USD.
