Jordan Welcomes Oklahoma Sooners Football With Air Jordan PE Collection

Shortly after the University of Florida previewed an entire set of Gator-colored Jordan Brand PEs, the Jumpman is ready to welcome another national football powerhouse to its family. Yesterday, the Oklahoma Sooners Athletic’s Twitter account unveiled an entire set of Jordan Brand PEs done up in crimson alongside a new set of uniforms that come equipped with a Jumpman on the left side of its chest, opposite the Big 12 logo. Much like the Gators PEs that we already showed you, these exclusives utilize the customary color blocking of classics the likes of the Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 3, and the Air Jordan 11. In a video provided by an OU beat writer, you can see all of the Jordans lined up at the Sooner’s football facilities, with a number of them bearing a striking resemblance to original models. For example, the Air Jordan 6 shown here is nearly identical to the beloved Air Jordan 6 “Carmine”, substituting Chicago Bulls-red with the crimson of Boomer Sooner. Enjoy a first look at this entire University of Oklahoma Jordan Brand collection here and tell us if you prefer these over the blue and orange models for the Gators.
