Where To Buy: John Elliott x Nike LeBron Icon

Noted menswear designer John Elliott—known for his refined take on cozy athleisure wear—and Nike are joining forces for a new LeBron James lifestyle sneaker: the Nike LeBron Icon. First rocked by the King himself before game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the new sneaker demonstrates both Elliot’s propensity for elevated lifestyle silhouettes and the undeniable sporty aesthetic that the Swoosh brings to all of LeBron’s products.

The shoe features a 3/4 lifestyle cut—somewhat reminiscent of the LeBron 8—a grayscale style color scheme, and a semi-translucent upper with white being used as a base while a speedy black striped pattern on the toe and heel adds a dashing contrast. A set of thin black stripes—replacing any standard Swoosh branding—on the lateral midfoot reaches up to the tongue before crashing back down again on the medial midfoot, adding further to the gradient look. A crystal-clear Air Max unit, first debuted on the LeBron 7, offers cushioning and tonal contrast, and the shoe is completed by co-branded insoles and an icy translucent outsole. Look for the collaborative lifestyle sneakers to release August 4th on Nike.com, with a retail price fit for a king—$250 USD.

UPDATE 8/21/18: The John Elliot x Nike LeBron Icon will release in Europe September 1st. A full Where To Buy list is below.
