Last night, just prior to Serena Williams’ U.S. Open debut, Nike SNKRS conducted a surprise release of the Off-White x Nike Air Max 97 from “The Queen Collection”. This highly coveted release celebrates Serena’s status as one of the greatest athletes in history, earning 23 titles with an unparalleled power and grace never before seen in the sport. Featuring an elemental rose tinted upper, a tennis ball colored zip-tie, and a gradient of purple, pink, and gold, this Air Max 97 is one of the most coveted sneaker releases of the year and will go down as one of Virgil Abloh’s most memorable offerings of his The 10 collaboration with Nike.
