The Reimagined Nike Air Force 1 Sage Now Features Laces

The Reimagined Nike Air Force 1 Sage Now Features Laces

Originally introduced as part of Nike’s extensive “The 1 Reimagined” pack that provided alternate, ladies-only takes on the Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 1 earlier this year, the Nike Air Force 1 “Sage” was a laceless take on the iconic silhouette. Now, the “Sage” is coming back again this fall-but with a new upper design and laces. The reimagined take on the already reimagined silhouette features a thin black tumbled leather upper with an ultra-low cut around the collar and a sunken toebox. The white midsole retains its full thickness however, providing an interesting contrast with the sleek and low-slung look of the upper. Detailing arrives via a black midfoot swoosh, black leather patch on the tongue, and a new extra-bold silver deubré with a bulky rectangular construction. No official release information for these interesting AF1s has been announced yet, but the presence of official Nike images indicates that they’ll likely be dropping in the next few months. Enjoy a first full look at the new kicks below, and let us know if you prefer this new Sage over the original laceless version.
