Nike Air Force 1 “Ribbon Pack” Features New Methods Of Branding

Just when you may have started to think that Nike couldn’t possibly find another way to work some extra branding on a classic silhouette, they’ve managed to do it yet again. After a bona fide legion of alternate branded takes on everything from the Air Max 97 to the Huarache hit shelves over the last few months, the Air Force 1 — a shoe that we’ve already seen with extra logos before — has received two new takes for the ladies, complete with a bold new branded ribbon embellishment.

Arriving in both a sultry beige and a deep black, both pairs boast a premium tumbled leather upper with a debossed leather tongue patch. The special branding mostly arrives via the aforementioned black ribbon, which wraps around the entire shoe directly above the midsole and features alternating Nike text and swoosh graphic hits. That’s not all though: both shoes also feature abstract heel detailing and more branding on the laces — repeating swooshes on the black pair, and “SWOOSH” text hits on the beige. The look is then completed by a classic simple white AF1 midsole and outsole. An official release date has not been announced yet, but look for both of these special Forces for the fairer sex to drop on Nike.com later this fall.
