It took quite a while, but an Air Jordan Retro is finally releasing in a South Beach colorway. This upcoming Retro 8 features teal and pink, a pairing that has permanently taken on the “South Beach” name once LeBron James announced his departure from Cleveland to the sunnier climates of Miami. It doesn’t need to be said that there really is no connection between the AJ8 to Southern Florida, but the obvious comparisons will be made regardless thanks to the attractive notes of turbo green and hot pink. One thing to note – this Air Jordan 8 Retro also features hints of orange at the forefoot of the sole, and with the official color designation calling out “Multi-color”, there will likely be more colors that emphasize the tropical themes. Expect a release beginning in October.
