Raf Simons Is Bringing Back His adidas Stan Smith

Legendary Belgian designer Raf Simons is a long-time adidas collaborator, having worked with the Three Stripes on classic silhouettes like the Ozweego and the Stan Smith since 2013. After five new two-toned Ozweegos were recently unveiled, Simons’ newest takes on the Stan Smith have been announced as well: a four-pack of tonal colorways consisting of a soft pink, a rich cream, a stark white, and a dark black. Each shoe is crafted from a supple leather, while the midfoot’s normal perforated three stripe design is replaced by Simons’ signature R logo. Classic adidas branding arrives on the tongue and heel collar, and Simons’ name is debossed on the lateral side of the heel. For a final interesting touch that wasn’t present on previous iterations, a periodic-table style embellishment also adorns the shoe, nodding to the genesis of Simons’ brand in 1995, and its evolution in following years. Fan of the Stan? This premium four-pack is set to drop at select Three Stripes stockists like Sneakersnstuff September 20th for $280 USD.
