Ever since LeBron James‘ “South Beach” LeBron 8 was released in 2010, teal, hot pink, and grey has been a popular color combo. From the Air Max 97 to the React Element 87 and Air Force 1, many a popular Nike model has utilized the whimsical palette. Now, the next shoe up for a “South Beach” treatment is the Air Jordan 1 Mid. Smooth white leather serves as the base, while a teal tumbled leather provides a bright contrast on the overlays. Slate grey detailing on the Swoosh, tongue, and collar provide a dark contrast, and a small strip of flamingo pink detailing adds a partially hidden pop of color. For a final interesting twist, a three color patch with teal, pink, and gold appears on the tongue as well. The look is then completed by a classic white midsole and teal outsole.
