The Washington Wizards Get A Nike Air Force 1 High

The Washington Wizards Get A Nike Air Force 1 High

It’s bound to be an extremely interesting season for the Washington Wizards. After being eliminated by the Toronto Raptors in the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs last year, they’ve got their sights set higher this year. They’re looking to contend for a conference championship, and with players like All-Stars John Wall/Bradley Beal, young talent like former Kansas Jayhawk Kelly Oubre Jr, plus new acquisitions like the hulking Dwight Howard and draft pick Troy Brown, they’re primed to do just that.

An compelling team also deserves alluring shoes, and the Wizards — a team whose colors lend themselves exceptionally well to a retro look— have been included in Nike’s Air Force 1 NBA pack by way of an AF1 High. The shoe calls upon a navy leather for the upper, while accents are provided by a red patent leather midfoot swoosh outlined in white, and a two-tone striped red and white strap. The pack’s customary holographic heel detailing is present, and the look is completed by a classic white midsole and navy outsole. Expect these hoop-inspired kicks to drop October 4th for $110 USD, and let us know where you think the Wizards will finish in the Eastern Conference this season.
