The Nike Air Max 1 Arrives In A Crisp Grey And White

Sometimes there’s nothing better than a classic sneaker with a clean and simple colorway. In the case of this recently-revealed white/grey Nike Air Max 1, that’s certainly the case. Tinker Hatfield’s legendary 1987 creation combined with a quintessential color combo makes for an unmistakably retro shoe than any Air Max lover can certainly appreciate. The upper calls upon a white mesh base, while two different shades of grey provide contrast on the overlays: light grey leather on the quarter panel and heel, medium grey nubuck on the mudguard. A bone-colored Swoosh adds a touch of understated branding, and further classic grey detailing around the tongue helps round the upper’s look off. The shoe is then completed by an off-white midsole, clear heel Air Max unit, and grey outsole. If you’re a supporter of straightforward and stately sneakers, you can look for these new AM1s to release at the retailers listed below later this season for $130 USD.
