After a nearly unstoppable Summer and Fall campaign, Virgil Abloh’s collaborative contingent of sneakers with Nike has slowed off considerably this winter. Hoping to change that this week will be two pairs of Off-White-branded Air Force 1 creations, with one responsible for arguably the most striking Abloh-designed Swoosh sneaker yet. Dressed in a blisteringly bold shade of Volt throughout, this Air Force 1 opts for hits of technical ripstop across its upper and all the usual embellishments featured throughout the Chicago-born creatives many Beaverton pairings. As previously stated, after Virgil drops this set of Air Force 1s and the upcoming Air Max 90s, his doings with Nike are expected to slow up for a bit, only increasing the hype surrounding these upcoming capsules.
