With the Air Max 720 looking to follow up the resounding success enjoyed by the Air Max 270 in the lifestyle market during 2018, Nike has begun to unveil a plethora of colors, the latest of which to appear is this regal gold makeup. The synthetic upper — somewhat reminiscent of the Vapormax Plus — features an interesting gradient design, fading from a rich gold by the heel to a pale gold around the toe. Meanwhile, the gigantic Air Max unit keeps things consistent on the bottom half with a full gold design for a striking tonal contrast. Black plastic accents arrive on the upper in place of a standard midfoot Swoosh for an interesting and futuristic design tweak, and Air Max branding on the tongue rounds the look off.
