Michael Le Borrowing the namesake of one of the most notable roads to stretch across the entire east coast, Nike’s “I-95 Pack” is a showcase of inspired toolings, infusing many of the surroundings found throughout the almost 2000 mile long path into both an Air Max 95 and AM 97. A diagonal line motif finds its way onto both pairs, calling back to both the slate grey pavement and the dashed lines that continue in seeming perpetuity. While the more black and grey palettes further connect both silhouettes to its overarching muse, bold hits of color separate any semblance of monotony, with the 97 opting for the green found on much of the road’s accompanying signage and the 95 preferring the tones found in the always nearby machine-covered construction grounds.
